Color-coding gets lost when deleting and back-spacing.
I like to color code things on my lesson plans (e.g. see for yourself http://planbook.com/student?t=1009933&k=romeo ). I am a believer that color-coding things makes things clearer to kids. However, when I edit plans, usually whenever I backspace/delete anything, whatever color-formatting I have will become blank. For instance, for Algebra I'm making "Daily Objective/Learning Goal," "Activity," "Materials" and "Assessments" all color-coded in burgundy font with yellow background. I'm making "IN-CLASS" and "HW" black font with yellow background. However, whenever I randomly hit "delete" or "backspace" (as is obviously always needed when editing plans), whatever above mentioned color formatting I have done erases itself and I have to re-color everything.
