Sync lessons between classes
It would be much easier to sync with specific teachers in my school, rather than import their plans. That way, when someone changes their plans, it automatically changes everyone who is synced to that person instead of having to import every time a change is made.
To simplify the process of sharing lessons, we’ve added support for class collaboration. Multiple teachers (or a single teacher with multiple sections) can now “share” the lessons of a class. A change made by one teacher will automatically update the lesson for all teachers who share the class. To allow others to share your lessons, edit the class, and set Collaborate to “View Only” or “View/Edit”. To share the lessons from another teacher, edit your class, and set Collaborate to “Replica”. You’ll then be able to select a teacher and class to share the lessons.

Replicate only sends it to classes the same day for me--I teach on a rotation and teach the same lesson across the 6 day rotation on different days. Help!

I have noticed that any adjustments my sharing teacher do not show up in my lesson. My intervention specialist adds interventions, but they are only on her version of the lessons in her account, not mine.

This does not seem to work. I am sharing my class as view/edit, but any changes my partner teacher makes is not reflected in my lesson plans. Is there a "sync" button or process?

I know that I can copy a lesson from one class to the next, but if I edit go back and edit, I have to recopy each lesson. When I teach 3 sections of the same class this gets to be tedious! It would be nice if when I create the lesson I could check the classes I want that lesson to apply to. Then if any changes were made a prompt could ask change to all or just this class.

Please add the ability for the teachers who are on the receiving end to be able to modify the shared lessons in their individual accounts without affecting the original.

I agree with those who teach the same lessons two or three times a day to be able to copy and paste, but to have the availability to add individual notes for each class

This would be a very nice feature for teachers that work in different schools across the district to share plans. I've had several teachers ask me if there is a way to sync their plan books or select individuals that can have access to view and sync (if they choose) and possibly edit (tag team lesson planning approach).

I completely agree. I am an interventionist and it would be such a HUGE help to me planning with my coteachers to see their plans automatically updated when they change them or I change them. It is frustrating to have to keep importing lessons, almost everyday, to see changes that have been made.

This would be a HUGE help! Would love to be able to do this.

This would be a huge help. I really like the idea expressed by "anonymous" where edits automatically update in pre selected classes.

It would be nice to have a feature where when you create a lesson, you can click which classes to apply it to. Then any edits would automatically update for all class periods.

I teach the same thing 3 times a day! It would be great if I could drag and drop between my sections. Copying and pasting wastes a lot of time! Please consider this feature. I would be super helpful to everyone.

I agree this would save time and confusion. Please consider making this change Planbook.
Thank You!

This would be so helpful, especially when we plan our basic activities, but then one teacher goes in an adds the standards later. If we reimport the other person's plans, it shifts anything else planned to the end of the line.

I would like this feature as well. It wastes time to copy and paste

I do the same thing - it's really easy to do with import/export from the Classes page.
Also - if you are looking at the week long view, right-clicking Copy/Paste would work even more quickly.
