Display classes by time
When I view or print my schedule for the week, without lesson details, I would LOVE to have it display in relationship to TIME, not all bunched together at the top of the page. This would help my colleagues visualize empty periods in my schedule (I'm a librarian)! When one class is 90 minutes and takes up the same amount space as a 30 minute class, or I have a break of 25 minutes, it is hard to read that across a week.

I would really appreciate this feature.

Displaying by time (some kind of Timetable view) seems eminently sensible. Being able to print your timetable to include in your program is a common enough requirement where I teach. It seems logical to me that the program I use to keep my lesson outlines should be able to be used for this purpose. Having done all the work to enter the outline of lessons, it is silly that I then have to go recreate it in a spreadsheet, or some other program. And to that end it should be printable with templates on/off option.

Scale-able lesson boxes. Since I have more classes on some days, my lunch times and recess times do not line up, which is just a bit annoying.
It would also help to visually quickly see how much time each lesson would have. Also, an option to hide the top navigation bar.

Yes, PLEASE add this feature. I agree with everyone's comments here!

When an event is added to a day,or you choose "no class day" it shifts all of the other classes further up or down the column. I like to look horizontally across my plans, and see all of my various subject lessons for the week in the same row. Having lessons in different spots for the same class makes it more difficult to view what was taught in a particular subject that week.

As a visual person I would really love this feature. I used as many votes as I could for this, but if I could have used them all I would have! It would make my life so much easier. Even if we could do this just for the week view?

YES PLEASE!!
I would like to see the time of day along the side and the classes in the order of they way they are taught so I can visualize my free time to schedule meetings and administrative needs as well. Having every class the same is also confusing because in our rotation we have days where our classes meet for 55 minutes and days where they meet 45 minutes. -

Yes! Please, as a visual learner it helps me so much to see how much time is allotted to events. I don't have the same thing at the same times everyday so the equal size lesson block does not work for me.

"Equal size lessons" does not work. I want an hour to automatically be sized twice as large as a half hour. My day should end at the same place every day.

I agree. That is the thing i most loved about my spreadsheet (paper) plans that I used before planbook. Please!

Yes!
This is something I am accustomed to with my paper planbook. When I add colour coding for the class I can see at a glance what I have, when I have it, and how long each class or break is for. -

I love this. And have the gaps as blank space so that you can see at a glance how the day is structured

Allow plans to be locked to the time of day in week view, so we can see what is going on each day at the same time even if there are more classes before or after that time on different days

If time feature was on it would show along the left side and time between classes would be clear. My work day is from 7:30-3:00 and I would like every day in my plan book to show that same length.

There are times when I teach Grammar and Reading during the same time period (or two other subjects). I would love the option of showing both colors on my lesson plans.

I would also love an option to view classes by time - I'd like to see easily when I have free periods, and for double periods to be more obvious. This is something I miss compared to google calendar, although in other ways planbook is much better for planning lessons.

It would be amazing if there were an option for your Planbook Display to show the hours all the same size. For example, if I have a class that goes an hour and a half it would be longer than the classes that are only 15 minutes. This way I could visually see how long things are taking during the day. Currently all classes look to be the same length. I would love to clarify if this does not make sense!

I teach high school and I love the layout of the planbook. I use it everyday and I love that I can share it with my students easily. However, we have 90 minute blocks and I would love it if there were a space to specify how much time each activity takes. For example, in my American Literature course, I want to do 3 activities in one day. I want to be able to have an area where I can put how much time each activity would/should take. Ex: Warm-up (10 minutes) Quote Analysis (25 mins).

It would be nice if I could see my schedule in a new so that I could see when my schedules overlap. I teach special ed and would like to see when different therapy times overlap with teaching times and overlap with each other. Similar to what it looks like in Google Calendar. Do you think this is possible?
