Add a collaboration option
Our school recently purchased a school-wide license. As a classroom teacher I have other teachers coming into my room to support my instruction (ENL, special ed, Speech, Occupational Therapist, etc). It would be nice to be able add collaborators to my plans so that they may add/expand upon the plans to that I have made to better support a co-teaching model.
To simplify the process of sharing lessons, we’ve added support for class collaboration. Multiple teachers (or a single teacher with multiple sections) can now “share” the lessons of a class. A change made by one teacher will automatically update the lesson for all teachers who share the class. To allow others to share your lessons, edit the class, and set Collaborate to “View Only” or “View/Edit”. To share the lessons from another teacher, edit your class, and set Collaborate to “Replica”. You’ll then be able to select a teacher and class to share the lessons.

am attempting to use the collaborate feature. I have shared my class/plans with another teacher using view/edit. They used the replicate button, and are able to see my lessons and edit on there end. BUT, the changes they make do not show on my end. In addition, if I make changes they do not see changes unless they go back to classes and replicate again. When planning together, it would be a nice if we both saw the changes immediately, that way we are not both creating lessons plans for the same class. Are we missing a step so that I can see the changes she makes?

I am attempting to use the collaborate feature. I have shared the plans with two other teachers. I set the collaborate on my account to say view/edit. After providing the other two teachers with my teacher key code, they were able to import my lessons. However we are running into issues with editing. When I make changes to the plans, they are not seeing those changes. When they make changes, I am not seeing them. We set up their plans under collaborate to be view/edit also. What are we missing because this is exactly what we need.

I agree- I also voted for the other one ("add collaboration option"). I don't care which one works, but this would be a very helpful feature considering how many teachers are co-teaching or collaborating on classes.

I agree! I created "Special Ed" and "ELL" tabs in my plans, but we either have to work together in person or I have to share my account password in order for their modifications/suggestions to be added to my plans. Our goal in using Planbook was to facilitate co-teaching when we have limited co-planning time, and we need collaboration settings to do it.
(There is another suggestion with the same idea labeled "add a collaboration option to plans" that was recently added.)
