Add event "alert" feature
Right now I keep two calendars because my school system has this feature and I like to be reminded of upcoming events, meetings, etc. It would be great to use just your program!

You can now add notifications to your events! Notifications can be at the time the event begins, or at a number of earlier intervals.
To add a notification to your event, click the "Action" icon in the event editor, and select "Add Notification".

It would be great to set an alarm for a one off event so I don't miss a meeting with another teacher, etc.

It would be very helpful if there was a reminder setting for events that are set by the user. It could have the choice to pop up a reminder 1 hour before, 1 day before, etc.

More utility so we can use the planbook as a versitile one stop planner. Ability to create alerts and add daily schedule things.

Just add the event title listing the date, but without a time, and it will show at the beginning of that day. Then add the same event again as a new listing, only this time you select the designated time slot and it will display both.

Would like to see a way that you could add 'an assembly' at the designated time, and also put a reminder at the top of the day so I see it when I open my plans for the day. It's like an 'alert' or set a 'reminder', for when you start the day.

It would be great if there was a feature available that allows me to see any special events for the day when I open up the day's plans, instead of having to scroll down through the whole day.

Absolutely need this. I teach elementary so we do not have bells. I easily get off schedule because I take too long on a lesson and miss other lessons. Or I take my class to specials late and those teachers get mad.

YES! This would be fantastic. Reminders would be so helpful for teacher due dates, computer lab times, etc.

I am hoping planbook.com plans on adding a multiple alarm feature to help keep us on track during our busy day. I currently use my ipad or personal iphone to set up an alarm schedule, but would love to utilize the feature right in my planbook.

This would be useful for reminding teachers to book lab space, library time, iPads etc, It should have many time options up to three months for long range planning like field trips.

I would love the additional feature of a reminder alarm for certain times of the day. I have missed my computer lab twice because we were so involved in our daily schedule! Thanks for the app, I am loving it!

I think that you should allow users to set a reminder alert for assignments/tasks that need to be completed. For example: send home parent letter on Thursday and then you would get an alarm like 15 minutes before the time you set.

I agree that an option to set an alarm for a class or event would be a fantastic addition! Maybe I wouldn't always be late to my specials then! ;) Thanks.
