Export to Google Calendar
It would be great to export Planbook to Google Calendar so that students have one less web site to go to and have access to their homework as well as their personnal agenda and goals.
You can now export your plans to Google Calendar!
To export your plans, click the "Send To" icon, and select "Google Calendar".

My school lives and breathes all things google. If I were to have the flexibility of this Planbook in a google environment, I could more effectively collaborate and plan with all the educators in my school.

Such a great product, such awful customer support. Tough combo for us suckers.

this has been requested for 8 years, How is this not a thing yet? this would kill the competition if you could export the calendar. the current feature has us planning from google calendar to planbook. If another app was willing to do this I would switch immediately and I know a few others that would as well.
I also find it annoying that Admin gives no updates to this.

I'd also like to have it export to Google Classroom so when I share my calendar with other staff, they see when I'm not available due to teaching.

If I was able to download it fo Google Classroom and my calendar, it will be easier for students, and me to see the lesson plan objectives, etc. Calendar would make ti easier for me to track my schedule.

This would be great!! My old LMS did this and the kids loved the feature. Now that school has switched to Google Classroom and "highly recommended" PlanBook, I truly the seamlessness of the old process. Now WAY to many steps to get things in one place for kids and parents to see what is going on.

Any update on this possible function? It would be very beneficial for the students to be able to see their lessons on Google Calendar.

Would be very useful to be able to use the meeting feature in Google Calendar while not having to reenter my classes there. Particularly good for remote teachers.

I don't want this for students, I want this feature for me!! I use both Planbook and Google calendar and need to do double the work.

So many teachers at my school would use this program if lessons could be exported to Google calendar.

This would be a great tool for schools that use Google. For those who don't think they would like the feature or that it enables their students, just don't use it. Google integrates with many other platforms that we use (Moodle or Google Classroom) so the features would be very useful for both students and teachers.

While you are at it....ical too would be a good idea (apple)

I don’t think that would be a good idea. A lot of students don’t use google calendar. Students also need to learn responsibility in creating their own and keeping track of the due dates individually.

I am undecided but leaning towards “no”. There were too many issues with Noodletools when it linked to Google, and the “Signing off Google correctly” problem as well.

No - students have Planbook and Portal for accessing everything they need to keep track of materials, discussions, and due dates. Anything else is redundant and unnecessary.

One less step! Please allow Planbook to export to the Calendar!
