Additional functionality for one-time schedule changes?
Background: My school is on a six day rotating schedule, and I don't see any classes all six days.
First - Every so often we'll have a Day 1 be a Day 4 and then the next Day 4 is a Day 1, for example. I'd like to be able to make this happen within Planbook - last year I resorted to putting a big yellow banner at the top of the days directing students to look at a different day for their homework. Yuck.
Second: As I said, we're on a six day rotation, but every calendar Tuesday is a different time schedule, and it's cumbersome to manually change the times of all five classes every Tuesday. Any way to "bank" alternate Tuesday time schedules for each of the six rotating days, and allow that time schedule to be easily swapped in?
(FYI - A competing product does offer this functionality for both of my issues, though I hope to use Planbook this year.)
Help?
HI Jessica,
If you click Go To → School Year, you can add “Terms” for each day your schedule needs to be altered to a different day. Simply give the term a name (such as “Reset 1”) put in the date, and then select the cycle day it starts on. Hope that helps, any questions please contact us at support@planbook.com

To update: it was officially announced that our first day of school will be a Day 3 and the third day of school is a Day 1 (we keep the youngest students in homeroom all morning on the first day this way.)
