User defined codes in gradebook
I love the gradebook. I'd like an option where I can create my own codes. For example, if a student isn't in our room because of a behaviour issue, then I'd like to put NIR (not in room) under an assignment or SH for sent home. I'd also like to have an option where I can just put a checkmark that it was completed or one of my codes for why it wasn't.

Please provide a way to adjust the scoring sheet to include something other than Excused, Incomplete or Missing. I would like to be able to indicate that a student was absent when we did the assignment as opposed to on a field trip or in a meeting etc. I would also like to just be able to indicate that an assignment was collected, but not necessarily graded. I would like to be able to add something like:
* Collected
* Absent
* Late -

Instead of just a numeric score, allowing assignments to be graded as completed or not completed. If it's complete, the student would get full credit towards their grade. This would be helpful in my special education classroom where accuracy as in score may be more ambiguous depending on staff support and modified assignments.

Add C=complete, when entering student grades

I check many assignments and homework as complete or incomplete. It would be nice if there was a way to keep track of homework with just a check or minus.

There are times when I do not want to grade what they have completed because it's practice or I helped with it. I would like an option to mark that they completed the assignment without grading it. This helps me keep track of students who do complete classwork or were absent.

Just add T for turned in. Just like
M=Missing
T - Turned In
