Attach documents to lessons
I would like to be able to attach documents to the lesson and make it available to students so that they can download pdf, word, power points, jpeg if they are absent.

As a primary teacher I often tie-in literature to my literacy and math lessons. I would love to import book title covers or even have a picture displayed of what a final craft project should look like .

If you or your school has a Google Apps for Education account, you could add a link to the presentation/pdf, etc... on your plans...

Now that you have a server couldn't you host files? It takes away that extra step.

Yes, there is a way. You can save them to google docs and link from there.
