Allow progress reports for students per unit .
I would love to be able to print a progress report for my class by the unit we study. I would find this especially helpful in Math class. On our report cards, the Math portion is divided into separate categories: Number Sense, Geometry, Data Management Measurement etc. My units generally focus on one of these areas. If I could print progress reports per unit, then I would have a more accurate account of how they performed within these separate sub-categories in Math.

Links and Attachments Catalog
Catalog links and attachments in a separate space in the Go To tab. Often during the school year when I'm doing review I like to show the same video or picture I used when teaching the content the first time. Sometimes I forget what date I originally taught the lesson and can't find the links/attachments I used before. That means I have to either review without that visual aid or find a new one (both of which can be confusing for students). It would be nice to have a section where all those things would be stored for easy review…

Add "view only" user type
I have staff members (support staff, teaching assistants) that need to be able to see multiple classes easily but I don't want them to have to any admin privileges in terms of settings and such. At the moment I have just enabled it but I am worried about it long-term.

Mobile Apps - Set gesture to edit lesson
Instead of a single touch to open a lesson for editing, give the settings option to change the required gesture to a “double-tap” in order to open a lesson for editing. The ability to open a lesson on the ios app can make the user experience very frustrating when trying to quickly view a lesson because the device may register an intention for scrolling the information as a request to open the lesson.
For those who like the immediacy of opening a lesson to edit on an iOS device might prefer not to force everyone to double tap and therefore…

View options in side bar
I would like to be able to click on the different sections of my lesson as I am going through it with my class, almost like a google slide or power point. However, when I click on view , it covers up most of the screen. If the view could show up along the edge or side, that would be great.

Sort attendance by grade level
Is it possible to create the functionality of being able to sort the attendance section by grade level? We teach all students in the school, but only take homeroom attendance for our homeroom assigned grades. When taking attendance we have to find the students among the rest of the school. We love the attendance functionality and we use it, but it would be a nice to have feature.

Promote student to another school
Allow admins to promote students to higher schools. If the student's grade level is currently the school's top grade level, provide a way for admins to transfer the students to a different school.

It would be great to make it possible to post to Google Classroom's Stream and not just "Classwork" tab. Teachers have assignments, like math problems or reading, that are not actual "assignments" done on Classroom that they want to communicate with students and parents (through guardian summaries). This would save teachers a lot of time from re-entering information in both programs.

Choose which Tab is open by default.
I enjoy planbook. One of the advantages is that I can create a "substitute" tab, where I list all my directions that will never change (procedural stuff, locations, times, etc) and not have to repeat that whenever I make sub plans. When I print sub plans, though, those directions end up coming AFTER my lesson directions. I want it to come before.
I know I can move the tabs around so the "sub" tab is first, but then when I go in to make my lesson plans every day, the sub tab is the tab that is automatically open. That…1 vote
