Print Class List in one pdf
I used to be able to choose dates for lesson plans and print a single pdf for those dates in Class List. Now when I choose to print lessons in Class List it creates a zip file with a separate pdf for each week. I hate that. I need to print all my lessons plans in one pdf for a set period of time, even a whole year if needed without it being divided into separate weeks.

shrink to fit a weekly spread over 2 pages.
I really like the "split week over two pages" option. I put mine in a 3-ring binder, and like to be able to see the week at a glance. It is helpful and I enjoy getting the notes section on the side but lately my plans are a long and I can't fit them all over two pages.

Student Assignment and Planning Section
I would like to suggest that Planbook include a dedicated section for students to plan their assignments, exams, and projects. This feature would allow the creation of a comprehensive schedule, incorporating assignments entered manually or imported from Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams. Students could plan and segment their study sessions, and teachers could publish tasks directly from their schedules. Additionally, parents would be able to track the progress of what their children need to accomplish. This enhancement would provide a more organized and transparent educational experience for all parties involved.

Integration with Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams
It would be highly beneficial to link Planbook with our Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams accounts. Currently, we can only connect our classrooms, but this feature has limited utility. It would be fantastic if we could automatically add student lists from Google Classroom into Planbook. Additionally, being able to display certain planning elements in the Google Classroom news feed would be incredibly useful.
Moreover, having the capability to post assignments and tasks planned in Classroom, as well as retrieve and transfer student grades from Classroom to Planbook, would greatly enhance efficiency. Essentially, Planbook should be able to communicate seamlessly with…

Embed plans into Google Sheets/Docs
I am asked to share my lesson plans with my principal each week via Google Drive. I want to be able to embed my Planbook into a Google Sheet/Doc that updates live whenever I need to adjust/move lessons instead of going in and changing everything manually. I know I can download them as Google Docs, but I don't like how it looks in the Google Doc format (Way too messy) and I don't want to use PDFs in case my Principal needs to leave a comment.

View/Print Attendance for specific date range
Be able to run a report that shows attendance for a range of dates. This would help with interventions and tracking events that impact a students attendance.

Limit dates for co-teaching lesson sharing
Allow collaboration / sharing with other teachers with the ability to select & restrict what they can see by dates.
My co-teacher could be given access to view and/or edit only specific days or classes and only for a set date range.
Example - I could share & allow editing on all my planning for classes on Weds, Thurs, Fri each week starting on October 7th and finishing December 14th.
I am only co-teaching from this week and want my co teacher to be able to edit directly on my plans for our shared days & classes but not be…7 votes -
Print option - Black borders on cells
Having black borders around each cell/class/subject when the page is printed would make them stand out better, sort of like with Google sheets. Perhaps it could be an option in settings so they could be customized.

Use Class Color for Lesson Editor Box
On the Plans page, I would love for each Lesson Editor (now blue) box to match the assigned color for each different class. Every time I'm working with a different-colored class, but the blue box pops up, I think I'm in the wrong class!

Add "Activity" type in Classwork
Right now Classwork only has Assignments and Assessments, but I would like to have "Activities" as well. Unlike Assignments and Assessments, Activities are only done in class (or online, depending on my course) and don't always have points attached.

Add warning message if a "duplicate" copy
Teachers copy the same plans over and over for the same week not realizing it has already copied. If there are plans already copied in that subject area for that week, there should be a notification so they don't copy it again. This bumps lessons forward for weeks without teachers realizing.

Option to edit and change Classwork Type
When I enter grades, I have to first remember to check off whether it is an assignment or assessment, and the default is an assignment. This means that I sometimes forget to check off that it is an assessment and there is no way to edit it...which means I then need to delete and enter in everything again. It is frustrating. This should be editable.

Integration with Google Tasks
The current integration of connecting Google Events to Planbook is great. I would suggest adding a feature to allow integrating Google Tasks.

Save "Stack View" as default
I wish I didn't have to start out in tab view and then switch to stack view. It'd be great if we could just start out in Stack View if that was our preferred view for our planner. Thanks!

Limit what displays for Templates
I wish there were a way to have items in the template, but only the top line showed in the daily view. Especially for the Standards, it would be nice to know I have something in there, but I don't need to view the entire list of Standards every day.
Perhaps the option to 1) Show all 2) Show First Line / hide rest unless opened.1 vote
