Add cycle days to events
My school runs on a 6-day cycle. I would like to be able to schedule events/activities that happen ONLY on a specific day in the cycle, not a "day of the week". For example, students that have band/musical instrument lessons, or special services like Speech, or "book buddies" once per cycle.
Right now, I am scheduling them "weekly" just so that I have the information in my lesson plans.
In scheduling an event like this, could there be an option in the drop down box to schedule on a particular day of the cycle? I know on the “School Year Information” section, you can select how classes are scheduled – on a cycle of ___ days.
This could also be used when scheduling students to meet with you for guided reading or conferencing…just a thought.

We are on a rotating drop schedule, and not only do students have classes that meet on certain "letter days" instead of days of the week but all of our PLC, SST, and Cluster meetings are scheduled by "letter days", too. To have the flexibility to schedule by day of the week or by cycle day would be such a huge help (for both admin and teacher)!

This would be so helpful! Many elementary schools I know run on 5 day or 6 day schedules. Please add this capability.

I would love to create a lesson plan template that cycles every other day. This is especially beneficial or guided reading groups.

I would also love to see this capability to schedule a recurring event by cycle day, but also by day of the week. This would help with adding things like student speech service, times they are seen by a nurse, or times they go to special education/TAG/etc.

It would be great to have recurring events be able to be based on a cycle day or a calendar date when using a cycle schedule.

My school has a 6 day cycle. In that cycle, meetings happen on specific days. I'd like to be able to schedule an event that happens, say, every Day 2 from 9:45-10:30 AM. I realize I could add a class and call it the meeting name and schedule it that way, but I'd rather be able to do it using the events feature. Thanks!

I like your option to have my classes be equal sized boxes. However, currently I have my yard duties set up as a class. I don't want them as an event since we're on a 5 day cycle and the only options I have for events are daily, weekly and biweekly won't match our 5 day cycle. What I would like to have an option where under the date I have a reminder tab so you can have recurring reminders (like yard duties) or can add specific reminders to that day only. Under all of that the classes would begin and the option to have equal sized boxes would work better. Thanks!
