Copy lessons to multiple classes at once
I have just created lesson banks that I will copy lessons from throughout the year. The lessons will be used for multiple classes. Currently, I can copy the lessons to each of the classes individually. However, it would be much more efficient for me to have the option of selecting multiple classes at the same time in the "Copy To" section.

This is a feature that is very needed to make plan book viable for my classroom as a time saving application.

I'm new to Planbook and am trying to do this, too. It's so cumbersome to copy a lesson to one class at a time! I teach 12 sections, and it's a huge time suck. Why not have a drop down menu where you can check a box for each class that you want to copy a lesson into?

Not only from the lesson bank, but from any lesson in a class. I have 6 periods of the same class. When I type my lesson into one period, I'd like to be able to mass paste into the other periods, or type the lesson once into a location then select the periods I want and click paste.

Have a drop down arrow to say I want the exact same lesson for each class all day and/or multiple days.

Is this being monitored? Will this capability be added for this academic year? thanks

I know we have the copy/paste function, but it gets tedious to do this 27 times. I would like to be able write a lesson and apply it to multiple classes.

AGREED! As a specialist, it would be so nice to type a lesson and have a dropdown menu of what classes it applies to instead of having to copy/paste it to every class (which takes a lot of extra time). I would love to have the title of the lesson copied too- not sure why it copies everything else but the title.

This would be awesome for my library classes!

YES--PLEASE! I teach two different classes 7 times a day. I do my best to keep them on the same schedule. Copy pasting for each class becomes tedious.

When is this available? Trying to decide with planbook to go with before I fork out $$

Agreed! I love that I can set it on a roational schedule, that's very helpful. As mentioned, it would be a huge time saver to input lesson plans into KA Art - then click apply to KB, KC & KD Art!

As an elementary music teacher, I have many lessons/units for a specific grade (Ex: 1st grade, 3rd grade, etc...) . I would love to be able to create a unit or a lesson in the lesson bank and NOT have to assign it to one specific class (1B or 3A). I would love to be able to have an option of a generic grade level or the option to assign it to multiple classes.

I'm an elementary music teacher and have (4) classes of each grade that I teach the same lesson to. Right now I have to manually copy each lesson to future classes. It would be great if when I was creating the lesson, I could select multiple classes to assign that lesson to while creating it. This would eliminate a lot of wasted time copy/pasting.

Please add this feature at this point it is almost impossible for rotation teachers
-
Erin Lewis commented
Yes!! This is especially helpful for special area teachers like PE, music, library who teach the same lesson to multiple classes but on different days/times during a rotation.
Ex: I teach the same lesson on Day 1 /2 times, Day 3 /4 times, Day 5 /1 time, Day 6 /3 times.

As a PE specialist, I suggest that you allow me to add a lesson to several classes at once. Copy and past can be laborious.
