Multiple schedules in a school year
For instance, my morning classes are on a 4-day cycle, and my afternoon classes are on a 3-day cycle. Please change this so we can split the day into multiple cycles.

I think there are probably many people with similar (if not exactly the same) needs. I'm a music teacher and band director. My music classes are on a 14-day cycle schedule but my band rehearsals after school are scheduled Monday to Friday. Having the ability to add my band rehearsals as a class on a M-F schedule would allow me to keep detailed plans and notes for those rehearsals. Thanks!

I also have this need! I have some students on a 4-day, some students on a 6-day and some students on a weekly schedule. I can get away with a 12-day cycle for my 4/6day rotations, but my weekly schedule is impossible to schedule!

It would be nice to allow classes to be scheduled by day OR by cycle day. For example, we have science every Thursday and Friday but Specials rotate on a 1-6 schedule. Right now, I cannot schedule my classes properly because of the limitation of having to stick to cycle days or day of the week across the board.

Have the ability when you set up classes to do either a number cycle day (Ex: 1-6) or a day of the week (Monday - Friday)

My school is on an alternating A-E schedule, but we still have the occasional event/class that happens on a specific day of the week. Please make it an option to have an A-E alternating schedule but also have a class that meets on, say, Wednesday's only.

I would like to see a calendar option that shows just a school year calendar, say July 2016- July 2017. You would be able to choose which month you wanted to start with and which month you wanted to end the year. I noticed that the Cycling continues even after the school year is over (it might seem trivial) but when you conduct summer classes most schools don't use cycles. I would want to keep my lessons for summer just in the 2016 - 2017 school year. Once that year is over I would make a new planbook for the following year. It would be nice to see an option to also tell the planbook when to end cycling for the school year. Right now the end date shuts off the counter and it removes any classes after that last day of school but the cycling continues forever. Also, my high school flips periods 8 and 9. So every A-C-E day it's a normal schedule 8 to 9, but on B-D-F days the class flips. It would be nice to have a option to flip two class periods and on which days. I hope this makes sense but if you have questions, I did provide my email address. Thanks for listening to us!

I would like to have just the resource section of my planbook repeat on a 7 day schedule and still be able to type daily plans into my planbook.

On our early out days, I have 3-4 different classes each month. I would like to be able to "add the class" and then choose specific dates for it to appear in my lesson plans during the school year. Right now I have to add them individually and there are SEVERAL for those 10 early out days!.

I actually have some classes that are every week, some are bi-weekly and some are tri-weekly. I would love to see this possibility.

I would like to change the cycle by class. We have K on a M-F schedule while the rest of the building is A - E.

I teach in elementary and we alternate music and PE every other day. I wish there was a setting to set just that class specifically to every other day when I schedule my classes.

I teach in two buildings-one is a 6 day schedule and one is an 8 day schedule. The 6 day schedule rotates days...the 8 day schedule rotates classes. I would love to be able to have both schedules in one planbook...

I would love to see this feature as well! Half of my classes are on a weekly schedule, while specials are one a rotating 6 day schedule. I tried to set it up both ways: weekly and modify specials; and rotation and modify weekly. Both options were too time consuming and cumbersome.

Yes! My school is on a 6-day rotation, but there are some meetings that happen on certain days of the week (ie Mondays). This feature would be really helpful!

Our school works on a 6-Day cycle for classes. As such I've setup my planbook on a 6-Day schedule format. However, some activities (i.e. after school activities and recess supervision duty) are independent of the 6-Day cycle. For example, I might have a supervision duty every Wednesday (not every Day 3) It would be nice to be able to have a choice of scheduling activities on the basis of a 6-Day schedule as well as on specific days (Mon, Tues...) as needed.

I agree. Without the accessibility to easily put in multiple schedules besides the week, biweekly and a/b weeks, it doesn't make sense to use this because it'd take forever to change all the different schedules every week.

Agree - I have an A/B schedule in the morning for HS/MS Art and then a 4 day rotational schedule in the afternoons for all my ES art classes. Is there a way to create a split schedule in Planbook.com?

Please add this feature! We have a 5 day cycle for specials, but have other classes that are based on a Monday-Friday schedule. Additionally, we have a late start every Wednesday. It would be really nice to be able to select these options when setting up our schedule at the beginning of the year, so that we don't have to add customized times, etc. each week.
