View all lessons while editing one
If we could see the week while typing in a lesson so we can compare lessons while inputting the information for the next lesson; instead of the overlay design. Although I do like the expanded screen for typing in long lesson plans, it would be helpful.

Allow a way for us to type directly into the plans boxes without having to open a separate text box.

Be able to edit and do lessons from the plan view. Need to see the days of the week all laid out while editing rather than in isolation as it is now.

have a timetable/schedule on the first page and then just each subject area have it's own page- a bit lime when you view it as a day. As you'll know and understand- primary teachers tend to plan the subject for each week rather then each individual lesson for that subject. My planner at the moment on a PDF is 18 pages. I've just started to use this so maybe there is a way.

The weekly view works great for me, seeing all of my classes at once, but it is often frustrating when scheduling for the next week. It would be wonderful if I could see my Friday and Monday schedules next to each other or on the same screen. My lessons plans are often complex and are not repeated on the next day. It would be very helpful to be able to see the Friday information when planning for Monday without having to click back and forth from week to week. This could also be accomplished by being able to selecting a date window for the weekly view, if scrolling horizontally is not an option.

I would like to view an entire week and plug in changes without clicking on the box, hitting edit, pulling up box, make changes, save and then go back to the rest of the week. This could work the same way you make changes to a cell within a spread sheet so you do not have to leave the view of the entire document to make changes to one cell.

I want to be able to copy and paste from one lesson to another in the weekly view, as though I were on a spreadsheet, without having to open up each day separately. Sometimes I really want to re-arrange bits and pieces of my lessons and it's quite a headache to do that when I have to keep toggling between the days individually. I often plan way too much for each day when doing weekly plans and need to re-arrange things frequently. As much as I love planbook, I'm considering a switch to a spreadsheet or table format just to make this easier.

It would be great to be able to edit the information just by clicking the date and the information just expand or something. It would be a great time saver to just be able to edit the info right from the list view without having to open up each day to change something. This would be especially helpful when pacing out the whole year.

It would be helpful to have some sort of option where you can just click on a lesson box and start typing as opposed to needing to open the entire lesson in a different window.

We'd like to be able to click and directly edit in the class lesson box, on the page where you are able to see the whole week at at time.

I'd like to be able to type in the week view. RIght now when I click on the class it opens another window and I lose sight of the other classes. I'd like the option of typing in the week view without opening that other window. It would be nice if I could click on the empty white space and just start typing without opening the other window. For more advanced typing options, maybe there could be a button on the heading of each class that you click to open that other text window and if you want quick editing you just click on the white space.

Excellent idea. I'm a new user and just noticed that you cannot do this.

I agree, I would really like to edit directly in list view. This is how I do all my long term planning and would really like the ability to edit directly and not have a pop up box appear.

If you are in "Week" view, when you click the next day's lesson the editor pops up. Point to the top blue border (where it says "Lesson"). Click and drag the editor around the browser window. You could scroll the week up using the browser's scroll bars (or your middle mouse scroll-wheel) then drag the editor down the page to see both at the same time.

Now when you click on a cell you get a new box that you have to work within and then hit apply. It would be much simpler to just work withing the cells. It could be like a word document where you could highlight and move text, cut and paste it, and copy and paste it. That would make it much faster.
