Sort attendance by grade level
Is it possible to create the functionality of being able to sort the attendance section by grade level? We teach all students in the school, but only take homeroom attendance for our homeroom assigned grades. When taking attendance we have to find the students among the rest of the school. We love the attendance functionality and we use it, but it would be a nice to have feature.

Copy bullets from Google Doc, text does not wrap
When I copy and paste text from a Google Doc into my lesson plan that contains bullets, my text does not wrap. Therefore, when I go to print the lesson the text runs off of the page. If I clear the formatting it will work, but I lose anything that was bold text, underlined, etc.

Retain screen position when saving lesson in bank
Currently when you adjust a lesson in the bank, when you save the lesson, the screen takes you to the top of the bank instead of staying in the location that lesson that was adjusted is in.

Copy ALL assessment information
I have heard from all teachers that it is unhelpful to have a copy button, to copy assessments and assignment from class to class that only copies the title of the assessment, but not the points, or date or any other detail, most of my teachers teach multiple sections of the same class. Please consider a copying option for all details of an assessment and assigmnet.

Add seach bar for Students page
It is time-consuming to read through all students name when trying to just find one student to assign to a teacher. Having a search bar at the top of the box would be so helpful!

Attendance Spread Sheet
It would be nice to have all the students names on a spread sheet with the following data.
Days Open
Pupils Enrolled
Total Pupil days attendance for the month
Total pupil-days enrollment for month
average attendance for the month
Percentage of attendance for the month

Share lesson with teachers
Send a lesson to someone else. So, if I write lesson plans for a particular lesson, I can send that lesson to my teaching partner, who could accept it and put it in her own lesson plans.

Copy lessons by date
I am a special education teacher. I collaborate with many teachers across grade levels, but I don't work with every teacher every day. When I import (copy) lessons into my week, the lessons do not copy to the same date, but rather by the same class. For example, Monday copies into my Monday, Tuesday copies into my Wednesday, Wednesday copies into my Friday, Thursday copies into next Monday...etc. This is ineffective as I need to keep up with units in a timely manner. It is also incredibly time consuming to individually import lessons by day (I work with teachers in…

User defined codes in gradebook
I love the gradebook. I'd like an option where I can create my own codes. For example, if a student isn't in our room because of a behaviour issue, then I'd like to put NIR (not in room) under an assignment or SH for sent home. I'd also like to have an option where I can just put a checkmark that it was completed or one of my codes for why it wasn't.

Add dark mode on Web and Apps
With dark modes becoming so popular on websites, on apps, and on operating systems as a whole, it seems like an oversight here! This should be implemented in all forms that Planbook exists.

View options in side bar
I would like to be able to click on the different sections of my lesson as I am going through it with my class, almost like a google slide or power point. However, when I click on view , it covers up most of the screen. If the view could show up along the edge or side, that would be great.

Tag lessons by type (Notes, Tests, Labs, etc)
Seeing the unit in my lesson bank is great, but it would be even better to be able to see the type of lesson at a glance. A well visible tag would be a great solution to this, and they could even be color-coded for even easier identification

Replicate Title, Times and Days
When replicating a class from another teacher, it would be great to have the option to also replicate the title, days, and times, and not just the lesson.

Mobile Apps - Set gesture to edit lesson
Instead of a single touch to open a lesson for editing, give the settings option to change the required gesture to a “double-tap” in order to open a lesson for editing. The ability to open a lesson on the ios app can make the user experience very frustrating when trying to quickly view a lesson because the device may register an intention for scrolling the information as a request to open the lesson.
For those who like the immediacy of opening a lesson to edit on an iOS device might prefer not to force everyone to double tap and therefore…

Add "view only" user type
I have staff members (support staff, teaching assistants) that need to be able to see multiple classes easily but I don't want them to have to any admin privileges in terms of settings and such. At the moment I have just enabled it but I am worried about it long-term.

Post assignment to Google Classroom with NO due TIME
My assignments are simply due at the beginning of the next class. Currently in Planbook, the default time it is due is 11:59 PM. Please allow for an option of a due date, but no specific time (similar to GClassroom).
