  1. Color code grade overview

    The gradebook should have a customizable option to color code the grades based on percentages. Example: if a grade is below 70% the box with the points should be red, if the grade is between 70% and 80% the box should be yellow. This would help identify students who struggled with a lesson at a glance in the gradebook.

  2. Show attached files alphabetically

    Arrange the attachment files alphabetically instead of by modification date. That is the way it was before this year.

  3. Show attendance for each day

    Allow us to print a report of attendance for a series of days (i.e. a month) that shows attendance each day (not just a total for the period)

    It would be helpful to be able to see a report that showed a row for each student and each column would be a day. So, if I specified a date range of 9/1-9/30, I would see all the students in the class listed and a P/T/A for each school day. "No Class" days could show as - or as NC.   4. generate

    The terminology of the word generate can be confusing. It gives the impression that each time you click that (generate) button, it will show a new code because of the term generate. Even though the codes remain the same. Thank you for considering changing the language of this feature.
    Also, please consider putting the "Generate Join Code" option under sharing options, instead of / in addition to students. Thank you!

  5. Option to hide Google Classroom items

    It would be great to hide the assignments from Google Classroom when I"m trying to unclutter my screen while I'm working on my plans.

  6. Add attachment to To Do list

    Sometimes there are emails or notes sent to me from someplace and I would like to be able to put on the "To Do" list so I can refer to it for exact information instead of writing-in all the pertinent information and people that are involved in the "To Do".

  7. Include a Single Sign On (SSO) option

    Having an SSO solution through Microsoft, Google, GG4L or something along those lines will help teachers not have to remember more passwords.

  8. Align start date from prior year

    Due to school starting later this year it is cumbersome to copy lessons from last year and paste them to this year. Each time I go back to last year I have to back up 4 weeks. Is there a way to align the start dates from last year and this year, so that when I view previous years it will show the same school day that I am working on? For example, if I am working on "School Day 1" and go back to last year it would display "School Day 1" from last year?

  9. Allow us to set a time zone.

    Currently, when I enter a 'To Do' item, it displays the previous day's date, as I am in a different time zone to the USA!

  10. Organize links to videos and other material

    When adding the lesson, have a separate area to put the links. There are times I want to go back to a link, but I have to scroll through weeks of plans before finding the link. Have a way to create a link database. Links to YouTube, etc..

  11. Make ALL teacher plans easier to view

    Make ALL Teacher Lessons Easier to View... for Students, Parents, & Subs

    It is "too much work" for students to login (to their student account or teacher's view key) to view their teacher's plans. Sorry - but this is a high school request and we struggle with getting lessons in front of students.

    We wish to see all teacher's lessons linked, preferably categorized by department. This would eliminate the need for over 100 HS teachers to set up their view key or get their links emailed to our webmaster. We also have 2,000 students... so creating and managing student accounts…

  12. Quick add new lesson to bank

    I know that entering multiple assignments in a spreadsheet has already been proposed, but I'd add to that a column to do an entire lesson in a spreadsheet (include Lesson title, page numbers, etc.). By have a spreadsheet for entry, that would eliminate numerous clicks on different buttons. The "data spreadsheet" would be linked/synced to the Planbook interface so that when changes are made in the online Planbook interface, the spreadsheet data would also update. From year to year, this would be an easy way to see an entire year at a glance instead of at the most only seeing…

    In the copy section, once I have dragged a lesson from the left to the right, I want to be able to then edit the copied lesson right there. Not have to go back to plans in order to edit it.

  15. Mobile Apps - List view for Students

    I would like for the week view for a single class, when shared to students, to have the option to be displayed vertically. This would fit better on a phone screen as well as mimic a printed weekly handout for students.

    I like planning for all my classes in your default view, but the sharing of that information for a single class isn't the best layout. I would use the list view, but that has the problem of needed to select the class

  16. Allow lesson copy from units within banks

    I like to plan in the bank by unit so I can then save those units for later. When I go to copy, I can select to look at each bank, but not the units within those banks. Being able to select a bank and a unit would make everything much easier.

  19. Enhance student announcements

    I would like to suggest some suggestions for the Student Announcement feature:

    1. Show a note in the teacher admin that an announcement exists. This could be a simple box at the top of the screen with "Student Announcement Visible". Then, clicking on the link will take you to the announcement.

    2. An announcement section. It would be nice to have canned announcements that can be saved and reused again.

    3.Ability to set the start date/time and end date/time of a given announcement.

    1. Ability to show specific announcements to given user/group.
