Allow an adjustment to the default font
I'd like to be able to set the font color and size without having to do it every time I click on a box. The font default is small and hard to read.

Allow the user to choose the order of sections under "display." This way when they are displayed or printed, the user can choose to have "objective" first or perhaps "lesson."

Bump or extend to next class even if times are different.
When bumping or extending a class over a Friday, I always have to manually adjust the plans as our Friday (math for example) is at a different time. The class name is still the same it just occurs at a different time.
3 votesHi Heather,
In looking at your plans, it appears that you created separate classes for Math Mon-Thu, and Math on Friday. You do not need to do this, as you can have a single Math class for Mon-Fri, and then set the start and end times for Friday to be different from Mon-Thu. The fact that you two separate classes is why your bump is not working correctly. Hope this makes sense. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at support@planbook.com
Thanks!

How's do I delete a school year?
I created a school year and moved over a bunch of stuff I didn't want. I couldn't see how to delete the year and start over, so I created another year with the letter A after it. I'd like to delete the year I created by mistake.

Move the "feedback" logo
Can you move the logo? When working on my iPad, I am unable to edit the last class or template because the feedback logo is in the way -- unless there's another way for me to edit these without clicking on the star/sun at the end of the line.

Move lesson to a different date
There should be an option to move a lesson to a different date without having to copy and paste.
211 votesWe now support the ability to easily move lessons (via the action list) to different dates! When you get a chance, please give it a try and let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Flexibility with templates (e.g. M, W, F)
Have a checkbox for the days, like you do with classes, so you could have the same template apply for M,W,F and have different ones for T, Th without all the retyping.
221 votesA single template can now hold information for all lesson sections, and can be applied to multiple classes across multiple school years! You can also schedule a single template for multiple days of the week, attach files to a template, and add or remove a template from individual lessons.

Copy/Paste problems and Sticky Mouse Cursor!!
I am having a problem still with copy/paste - I'm losing the formatting. ALso - now my mouse is "sticking" to the lesson tab and I can't get rid of it (and end up dragging the lesson plan all over the browser window) other than closing the window with a keyboard command. Never saw anything like THAT before!

Moving the buttons
It would be more helpful if the left side buttons were moved to the right where you just clicked from the drop down menus. For instance, in the templates, it would be easier if the "Add Template" button was on the right once you clicked to that page from the drop down menu.

add the rest of the standards in Arkansas. You have Fine Arts listed but there are also instrumental and vocal at each grade level 9-12.
Thanks for including the music standards in Arkasas in the "standards" tab. However, it is really incomplete. Example, please add "instrumental" and "vocal" for 9-12. Otherwise every band and chorus instructor will find nothing. I REALLY want this. PLEASE.
I know the elementary music teachers are finding this program very useful. I however, am K-12 music and I am struggling with the standards inclusion. Please consider doing this!1 vote -
print standards ID horizontally
Printing the standards ID horizontally would save space, especially when printing. I try to get my lessons to turn in to administrators on 2 pages or less.

When adding a new school year, you can select what classes to copy over from the prior year to the new one. Once you have a new year created, you can created a class, and them import lessons from a prior year class into the new one. If you have any questions, please contact us at support@planbook.com
Thanks!

Color code subjects better
When printing lesson plans it would be better if the colors stood out more so you could see the different classes easier. Maybe highlighting instead of outlining

View plans horizontally
If I were able to view and print my plans horizontally, I could place pages side by side in a binder. This would help me to see my entire day without flipping pages. Keeping my computer logged on to the website to reference my plans throughout the day isn't an option with preset energy saving options put in place by my district.
704 votesHorizontal View is now available! To switch to horizontal view, click Go To → Display Settings, and select “Horizontal” Lesson Orientation. Any questions, just let us know!
